People often search for a disposable email account when they only need a temporary address and inbox. The distinction matters because a no-sign-up mailbox does not provide a username, password, cross-device login, or recovery process.

Permanent email normally has a registered identity, password, recovery method, settings, contacts, and long-term storage. You can sign in later and may access it from multiple devices. Those features make it suitable for important communication but also connect more activity to a durable identity.
A disposable service creates a temporary address
InboxFlick generates an address and an active inbox without asking for a name, password, phone number, or permanent email. The address receives mail for a limited time. It is not an account you can log back into after losing the browser session.
Browser access replaces the password
A private token in a Secure, HttpOnly cookie tells InboxFlick which browser may read the mailbox. The database stores only a one-way token hash. This protects the inbox better than relying on the public address alone, but clearing cookies or switching devices can still end access. If you have already lost the inbox screen, use the temporary inbox access checks to find the original browser or identify what has expired.
The address and inbox expire together
The active mailbox starts with 10 minutes and can be extended to a one-hour maximum from creation. Expiry or manual destruction stops access and starts permanent cleanup. There is no forgotten-password flow because no durable account exists.
No account means no future recovery
The lack of registration is convenient for a one-time task, but it removes the safety net needed for receipts, password resets, account notices, and later verification. Use a permanent account whenever the relationship may continue beyond the current browser session.
Create an address only when the outcome is disposable
Use a temporary address for development tests, one-time resources, uncertain marketing forms, and low-risk sign-ups you can abandon. Keep the inbox open until the task finishes, then destroy it. Do not treat a disposable address as a free replacement for permanent email.
What if I need temporary email and a password?
The temporary inbox does not issue a reusable mailbox password. Access stays with the browser credential, so the address cannot be used as a login on another device. A password you create on a different website does not preserve the temporary inbox or restore its messages. Choose a permanent email account if you need later sign-in or password recovery.
