Temporary Email Login: Find Your Inbox or Check Lost Access

You copied a temporary email address, left the page and now need to see its messages. There is no mailbox password to enter on InboxFlick. Access belongs to the browser session that created the inbox, and that session must still refer to an active mailbox.

Create an address

First, find the browser that created it

Check the original device, browser profile and tab. If you opened the site from another app, look in that app’s browser too. An address created in a private window does not become available in a regular window merely because both windows are on the same phone or computer.

Do this before selecting Create an address. A new address will not receive a code sent to the old one, and it can make it harder to keep track of which address you entered on the other website.

Check the selected address

If you have several active mailboxes in the same browser, compare the selected address with the one on the requesting website. Choose the matching mailbox from the list. Read the full address; two randomly generated names may look similar at a glance.

The inbox URL is not a public link to a named mailbox. Sharing or reopening that URL in another browser does not transfer its private reading access. The account-versus-address guide explains why knowing an email address is not the same as owning its inbox.

If the timer is still running but the list looks stale

Refresh the message list and check your connection. If the sender has not delivered anything yet, the inbox may be working normally. Compare the address, check the latest request on the sender’s page and allow its delivery process time to run.

Keep the inbox active while you investigate. Our missing-message troubleshooting guide separates a delayed sender from a wrong address, an expired mailbox and a rejected temporary domain. Those cases need different next steps.

If browser data was cleared

Clearing site data can remove the credential needed to read the temporary mailbox. The address itself cannot replace it. A password created on the website where you used the address also does not unlock the InboxFlick inbox.

Do not send support a verification code, browser cookie or sensitive email body in the hope of restoring access. InboxFlick does not provide an address-only mailbox recovery path. If the task can be restarted, create a new inbox and update the address on the requesting site before requesting another message.

If the mailbox expired or was destroyed

An expired inbox cannot be extended after the deadline, and a destroyed inbox cannot be reopened. Extensions are available only while the mailbox is active, up to the maximum lifetime. A new mailbox is a new task, not a continuation of the deleted one.

If you need the old message for another service, use that service’s published account-recovery process. For an account you can still open, change its contact email to a permanent address. Read the steps for replacing a temporary account email while any remaining access is still available.

Keep the next task in one place

Create the mailbox just before using it, keep the original browser open and complete verification before leaving. On mobile, switching between apps deserves particular care because two pages with the same site address may be in different browser contexts.

Use a durable email account for anything that needs another login next week. Temporary inbox access is intentionally short-lived; saving the address in a note does not save the mailbox.
