On a phone, the awkward part of temporary email is often switching between the inbox and the app that needs a code. Start in a browser you can return to, keep track of its timer and finish the task before closing that browser session.
Create an addressStart in your regular browser
Open InboxFlick directly in the browser you plan to keep using. A page opened inside a social app can have a different browsing session from Safari, Chrome or another standalone browser. An address created in one place may therefore not be available in the other.
Create the address when you are ready to use it. Copy the complete address with Copy address, then paste it into the form. Check the end of the domain as well as the beginning; a missing character can send you into a delivery problem that refreshing will not fix.
Switch apps, then come back to the same tab
After requesting the email, return to the browser tab where you created the inbox. Keep that tab available while you finish the form. Reopening the site in a different browser is not a way to carry the same mailbox across.

Use the newest code from the right message
Open the email and check which service sent it. If you requested several codes, an earlier one may no longer work. Copy the latest code carefully, return to the requesting app and paste it into the email-verification field. A field asking for an SMS code still needs a phone message.
For confirmation links, open the link in the browser or app that the sender expects. If the destination cannot associate the link with your sign-up, follow its instructions. Do not repeatedly request new messages before checking whether the current one is still valid.
Watch the timer when the phone has been idle
Switching apps or putting the phone to sleep does not pause the mailbox lifetime. InboxFlick starts with ten minutes. If time is running short, extend while the inbox is still active; extensions cannot take it beyond one hour from creation.
If the screen has been in the background, return to it and check the current state before assuming a waiting message is the latest one. Use Refresh if needed. For delays, follow the missing-email checks rather than replacing the address midway through the request.
A mobile website may be all you need
You can use the InboxFlick website without installing an app. A native app or browser extension is a separate product choice, and a search result containing the same words does not establish that it comes from the same publisher.

Finish the form before clearing the inbox
Confirm that the requesting website accepted the code or completed the task. Keep any non-sensitive information you need from the message, then destroy the temporary inbox when you are done. Closing a private-browsing session or clearing site data can remove your reading access earlier than the timer.
If this is an account you intend to keep using on your phone, give it a permanent recovery address. Completing today’s code does not make tomorrow’s login message accessible after this inbox is gone.
