Understand access, expiry, verification codes, and data cleanup for a temporary inbox.

Is InboxFlick free and does it require an account?

InboxFlick is free to use and does not require a registration, password, name, phone number, or permanent email address. Create a random inbox directly in the browser.

Can someone read my mail if they know the address?

Knowing the address alone is not enough to open messages through InboxFlick. Reading also requires the separate access token held in the browser that created the mailbox. Do not use a shared browser profile for private content.

Can temporary email receive verification codes?

Most ordinary verification messages can arrive while the inbox is active. Some websites deliberately reject temporary-email domains, and InboxFlick cannot override a sender's acceptance policy or delivery delay.

How long does a mailbox last?

A new InboxFlick mailbox starts with 10 minutes. You can extend it in 10-minute steps, up to a maximum of one hour from creation. The interface shows the current remaining time.

Why has my message not arrived?

Check the complete address and confirm the timer has not expired. The sender may still be processing the message, may have entered a delivery retry, or may block disposable domains. A message that never left the sender cannot appear in InboxFlick.

Can an expired or destroyed inbox be recovered?

No. Destruction and expiry cleanup are intentionally irreversible. InboxFlick cannot restore the address, messages, or browser credential after permanent deletion. If you are unsure whether the mailbox expired or you just left the original browser, check how to find your temporary inbox before restarting the task.

Does InboxFlick support attachments?

The current version does not store attachments or provide attachment downloads. If a message contains readable text or safe HTML, that body may still appear after sanitization.

Should I use temporary email for an important account?

No. Use a permanent address for financial, healthcare, work, paid, identity, travel, and recovery-sensitive accounts. Temporary email is intended for low-risk tasks you can abandon.

Can I send email from temporary email or forward messages?

InboxFlick’s temporary inbox receives messages. It does not offer a compose, reply or mail-forwarding feature. A search for temporary mail forwarding can also refer to postal mail, which is unrelated to this service. If you need ongoing replies or forwarding, use an email provider that explicitly supports them. The guide to sending, replying and forwarding compares what to use when a message needs an answer.
